A guitar player from birth, Doug has traveled far and wide bringing his music to the four corners of the earth. With stints in India, the Philippines, Zambia and Costa Rica plus appearances in numerous U.S. cities, including one at a maximum security prison in Ionia, Michigan (no, really), he has, well, hauled some serious guitar, "Have tone, will rock" stenciled on his guitar case.

With strong influences of Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Johnny Winter, Jimmy Page and Stevie Ray Vaughn just to name a few, Doug builds on his blues/rock foundation into a wide variety of musical directions, playing many different styles - from funk to jazz to reggae (and even a bit of bluegrass) - with feeling and conviction.

A strong vocalist too, he's been known to deliver inspired interpretations of songs by singers as diverse as: Stevie Ray Vaughn and Stevie Wonder, Jimi Hendrix and Jim Morrison, Van Morrison and Vin Diesel. (Actually, while a big Vin fan, Doug has not yet interpreted any of Vin's songs nor is he sure he'd want to if any actually existed. But that's beside the point. The guy loves music. End of story.)
