| The Transfusers (2003-2008) were a truly musical band.
Choosing the best songs from several genres for their cover material
- from classic rock to modern rock, blues to R&B - they offered a live
experience true to the original in more ways than one,
generating all the energy and passion the original artists
intended. And their original material was no less musical and
energetic. Sprinkling in a half dozen or so of these in a typical
performance, audiences responded every bit as enthusiastically as to
their spirited interpretations of other artists' songs. The band consisted of Tom Bright (guitar/vocals), Doug Hassman (guitar/vocals), Kenny Carson (bass/vocals) and Joe Scanlan (drums/vocals). The Transfusers played at many of the top local venues including Famous Dave's BBQ and Blues, Whiskey Junction, The Minnesota Music Cafe, The Varsity Theater, and many more. |
